Oldfather Group adds three to coastal real estate sales team

October 31, 2019

The Oldfather Group of Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty, with offices in Lewes, Rehoboth Beach and Bethany Beach, announced the addition of Dee Salerno, Michelle Wyatt and Sam Nainani to its continuously growing team of coastal real estate professionals.

All three have come on board in recent months, adding their expertise to one of the coastal region’s top-selling real estate teams.

A native of New Jersey, Salerno obtained her Maryland real estate license in January 2018 and her Delaware license in July 2019. She began with the Oldfather Group in late summer and has already become an integral part of the firm’s growing sales team. Her focus is on the First State’s coastal regions, where she mentions the beach, the people and the area’s diverse restaurant scene as some of her favorite things.

“I love this area, and I love helping people find their dream home here in coastal Delaware,” said Salerno, who makes her home in the Long Neck area. “I enjoy real estate because it’s never boring, and no two transactions are the same. I also get to meet all kinds of new people and work with them on various levels.”

Salerno compares buying a home at the Delaware beaches with finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow; she loves helping clients find their forever beach home.

Living in the Newark area, Wyatt spent much of her career working in special education and made the transition into the world of real estate upon obtaining her license in fall 2013. She’ll be focusing mainly on the northern Delaware markets from her home in Newark, with a planned move to Smyrna in the near future.

“I love that Delaware is small enough that I can travel the entire state in just a couple of hours and am close to just about everything,” Wyatt says. “I look forward to continuing to learn more about the real estate profession and assisting my clients to the best of my ability.”

Wyatt refers to Delaware’s low tax rates, as well as the growing infrastructure and the beaches, as compelling reasons to purchase property in the area.

A native of Queens, N.Y., Nainani owned and operated his own sports memorabilia shop for 15 years before making the move to real estate. He joined the Oldfather Group in late summer, focusing on residential properties at the Delaware beaches.

“I had heard great things about the Oldfather Group, and I’m excited to be here as a member of this team,” said Nainani. “As for coastal Delaware, my favorite things are the beaches, the food and the tax-free shopping choices.”

Nainani currently lives in Milton and last year celebrated his 20th year living in the First State.
