Outstanding in the Field event showcases local food, farmers and chefs

SoDel Concepts prepares and presents meal for second year

Matt Haley, owner of SoDel Concepts, was chosen a second time to prepare and present the menu for the Outstanding in the Field event which took place Sept. 26 at the Indian River Marina.

Outstanding in the Field is basically a traveling restaurant with a mission to showcase and appreciate the products that come from local landscapes and farms in order to build the relationship between diners and the origins of their food. Attendees are seated at one long table, typically al fresco, highlighting the idyllic scenery of the unique location.

Outstanding in the Field tours all over North America, as well as internationally, and has received praise from several acclaimed publications such as the New York Times Magazine, GQ, Conde Nast Traveler and Coastal Living.
