Pam Bounds-Seemans to display new work at Back Porch Café

September 17, 2016

Artist Pamella Bounds-Seemans will bring her fun and folksy paintings to Rehoboth Beach restaurant the Back Porch Café this month.

Bounds-Seemans is known for her acrylic paintings surrounded by a collage border and hand-painted frame. Her latest series features fall themes, including the Sea Witch Festival.

"I am looking forward to displaying my work at the Back Porch," Bounds-Seemans said. "I am displaying paintings with fall themes, as well as beach-inspired work. Of course, all of the pieces have my own twist."

Bounds-Seemans received an MFA in painting from Highlands University in Las Vegas, N.M. She is a Delaware Division of the Arts fellowship recipient and won Best Artist from Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, Va. Her works are owned and displayed around the world.

"Pam is an old, dear friend and has been a supporter of the Back Porch since before she became a famous artist," said restaurant co-owner Keith Fitzgerald. "Her work is original and different from everything everyone else is doing, but it still has a broad appeal. Her art livens up the restaurant and makes people feel good."
