Young anglers took to Half Shell Pond in Pot-Nets Bayside for the second annual Pond Pounder in a race to see who could catch the most fish.
The June 15 event, hosted by Paradise Grill, helped raise $2,800 for the Oak Orchard Boys & Girls Club. Anglers 3 to 12 could enter. The $25 admission fee included a T-shirt and a barbecue lunch provided by Sons of AmVets Post 2.
