Patricia D. Momot, devout Catholic

Patricia ‘Pat’ D. Momot, 82, of Millsboro, formerly of Lewes and Brookhaven, Pa., passed away Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. Pat was born in Baltimore, Md., daughter of Alexander and Ellen (Dankulic) Corbett. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1961 and Chester School of Nursing in 1963. Pat worked for many years as a nurse before retiring shortly after moving to Lewes with her family. She loved her family very much. As a devout Catholic, Pat would pray for everyone every chance she had.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, John Walter Momot, in 2022; her brother, James Corbett; and her sister, Dolores Corbett Mount.

Pat is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Annis (Dale) and Annie Momot; brother, Ron Corbett (Nancy); grandchildren, Marti Whitley (Stephen), Felicity Lariccia (James), Robert Dale Annis II, December Annis, Xander Annis, Tommy Annis, Jasper Annis and Brycen Annis; great-grandchildren, Gavin Whitley, Mila Whitley, Aurora Lariccia and Briar Rose Lariccia. She had many nieces and nephews, a close friend and caregiver for the last three years, Kay Prussman, and several family pets whom she loved and spoiled immensely.

Services will be held at a later date and will be private.
