Patricia Greene Crozier, cherished wife, mother, grandmother

September 24, 2025

Patricia Greene Crozier, 82, of Millsboro, and formerly of Newark, was led to heaven’s gate by an angel Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025. Pat was born June 5, 1943, to the late Edward and Marie Greene of Chester, Pa.

Throughout her life, Pat had a special way of touching many hearts. She showed an extraordinary level of care and love, always putting others' well-being first, without a moment's hesitation. Her strength and determination were truly unmatched, no matter what challenges came her way. And because of all that, Pat will be deeply missed by everyone whose life she touched.

Pat attended parochial schools, and after high school, married her soulmate, Ralph Crozier Jr.  They celebrated 65 wonderful years of marriage Aug. 6.

Pat worked as a retail manager and a district merchandiser for Revlon, but her greatest joy was raising her six children with unconditional love and support. She cared deeply for her family and enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking, reading, everything Christmas, spending time on the water, and sending daily good morning text messages to her family. Creative and artistic, she had a gift for making everything she touched beautiful. Pat was also a devoted animal lover, caring deeply for her many beloved pets throughout the years.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Marie Greene; her brother, Edward Greene (Rita); and her sister, Mary Dalonzo. In addition to her husband, Ralph Crozier Jr., she is survived by her brother, Thomas Greene (Diane); her six children, Gininne Halfen, Jill Crozier, Lisa DiPietrantonio (James), Ralph Crozier III (Michael Bouchard III), Eric Crozier (Diana) and Jessica Crozier (Kevin Maull); 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She'll be remembered for her kind-hearted nature, her generosity, her unwavering devotion to those she loved, and the joy she shared with everyone around her.

A funeral service will be held at noon, Monday, Sept. 29, at McCrery Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington, where family and friends may visit from 11 a.m. to noon. Interment will follow at All Saints’ Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Pat’s name may be made to Brandywine Valley SPCA, Georgetown.
