Patrick D. Mears, construction worker
Patrick D. Mears, 59, of Frankford passed away Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes.
He was born in Lewes April 12, 1962, to Carroll and Helen Mae (Moore) Mears. He worked in construction for Best Drywall for many years.
Pat was preceded in death by his wife, Angel Lynn Mears, in 2012; his father, Carroll Mears; and a nephew, Kyle Mears. He is survived by his daughter, Kellie Pitts and her husband Michael of Frankford; his mother, Helen Mae Mears of Frankford; two grandchildren, Quinn and Korie Pitts of Frankford; two brothers, CJ Mears and his wife Sherry of Frankford, and Steve Mears and his wife Pam of Frankford; a niece, Jessica Mears and her wife Angie Cassell of Frankford; and two nephews, Stevie Mears and Eric Mears, both of Frankford.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 24, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 32112 Vines Creek Road, Dagsboro.
