Thousands of people dressed in costumes and carried signs at events on Route 1 outside Rehoboth Beach and at The Circle in Georgetown Oct. 18, as they gathered to peacefully protest on a No Kings Day of Action. The events were part of a nationwide day of nonviolent protest. The No Kings protests are a series of demonstrations against what the organizers describe as authoritarian policies of President Donald Trump.
