Penny-Wharton engagement announced

Ms. Evelyn Penny of Georgetown is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Christy Penny, to Eric Lee Wharton Jr., son of Eric and Alicia Wharton of Lewes.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Sussex Central High School and is employed as a hair stylist at Bling Salon & Spa.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School and is employed at Sposato Irrigation.
The couple plans to wed on Oct. 12, 2013.
