Personal trainer’s transformation inspires clients

June 26, 2021

A wise man once said the best way to teach is to learn, and that’s exactly how Jason Langley’s journey from client to trainer began. Three-and-a-half years ago, Jason signed up for my 12-week body transformation to get in great shape and simply try something new. However, this journey sparked an interest in fitness and self-improvement that changed his life and led to a second career helping others achieve the same goals.

Upon first meeting Jason, most people see a fitness role model who lives and breathes a healthy lifestyle, but this was not always the case. In fact, before he did our 12-week body transformation, he was just like many others looking for a way to get in shape. “I felt like I needed to change. I weighed 216 pounds, was overweight, smoked about a pack of cigarettes a day, and just felt tired and run-down all the time,” Jason said. Luckily, a friend who’d had great results with our program referred him to us, and this twist of fate ended up working out well for both parties.

“I heard great things about Antonio’s Personal Training Systems from a friend that had completed a 12-week body transformation, and his results were phenomenal,” Jason said. “So I decided to sign up and make a lifestyle change.” And that’s exactly what he did.

He attacked his program with a sense of dedication and focus I hadn’t seen in most new clients. He instantly bought into the structure of the program hook, line and sinker, and began to see weekly results that were well above average, which motivated him to work even harder.

Jason finished his initial 12-week transformation with amazing results. He lost 40 percent of his starting body fat and got down to 165 pounds at a ripped 10 percent, but more than looking great, the additional physical and mental changes were just as beneficial. “After my first transformation, I felt amazing. I had a lot more energy, slept better and saw overall improvement athletically. I also really like the mental challenge required in following the program,” he said. And because of this, he never returned to his former unhealthy self.

When Jason finished the transformation, he continued to incorporate a lot of the basics he learned while training with us and stayed in great shape. I would see him periodically, but our paths would not formally cross again until last year, when we were looking for new trainers and Jason applied for a job. Hiring him was a no-brainer. He had already gone through our system, was extremely passionate about fitness and wanted to share that energy with others. “Fitness is a big part of my life. Helping inspire others to meet their goals is something that is very rewarding to me, and I want to share what I’ve learned with others so they can get the same results I was able to achieve,” Jason said.

The rest was history. Jason has been working as a trainer since January, and he has produced some incredible transformations. In addition, he has a special connection with his clients because he can relate to them through his own experiences. “Having gone through the transformation twice has taught me how my clients feel and what they need to do to succeed. I know what it is like to be in their shoes and can share tips, provide advice and offer support to encourage them to keep going,” Jason said. Vecause of his positive energy and unique qualifications, he has already inspired many people to completely transform their bodies and minds just like he did three-and-a-half years ago.
