Pick & Chew outreach event set June 25

W.G.M. Outreach Ministries announced its Pick & Chew event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, June 25, at 21169 Coverdale Road, Bridgeville.

Sototally Delicious will prepare mouthwatering entrees and a variety of indulgent desserts, and Urban Tent Events will be provide shade for attendees. Donating the poultry is Mountaire Farms which has made monetary and in-kind donations for more than six years.

WGM Outreach Ministries Inc. has been serving Delmarva as part of the Coverdale Crossroads community for over 20 years. Its food program has served over 20, 000 individuals, and the Back 2 School program has dispersed school supplies and backpacks to more than 750 children since its inception. Its mission is to empower communities by strengthening the individuals within through education, motivation and action.
