Plant sale, pollinator festival set May 9 at Epworth UMC

Epworth UM Church will hold a plant sale and pollinator festival from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, May 9, at 19285 Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth.
The event will feature native plants and information about how choices made in the home landscape affect pollinator health. Education about cultural practices, native plants and invasive species, ecological restoration and the Dark Skies initiative will be available.
The Delaware Beekeepers Association, which just celebrated its 90th anniversary, will bring a teaching hive and an observation hive displaying live bees to the event. The Sussex County Master Gardners will feature their Garden Smart, Garden Easy program and will be available to answer a wide range of gardening questions.
