Plein air drawing class at Rehoboth Art League Oct. 7

Rehoboth Art League will offer a plein air drawing class from 9:30 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Oct. 7, among the autumn scenery of its Henlopen Acres campus.

This class will explore three basic approaches to plein air drawing: tonalism, cross-hatching, and line work. Through a series of simple drawing prompts, students will learn to render landscapes with confidence and complexity. In addition, the class will discuss perspective and developing points of interest, and share in a group critique at the end of the session. All participants need is a sketch pad, pencils, erasers and a blanket or towel to sit on. This class for beginner and intermediate drawing students is $45 per person.
