Plein air painting workshops to start Sept. 20

September 9, 2021

Milton Arts Guild will offer a three-part plein air workshop series with nationally noted artist Anne Buck from 9 a.m. to noon, Mondays, Sept. 20, Oct. 18 and Nov. 8, weather permitting.

This unique workshop is free, with a freewill donation to Milton Arts Guild.

Participants will meet in the public parking lot off Magnolia Street in downtown Milton, and proceed to an outdoor location to paint.

Students will learn the joys and challenges of painting outdoors, and can follow along with Buck, simply watch the techniques, or work independently using any medium they choose: watercolor, oil, acrylic, pen or pencil. Participants should bring their preferred painting supplies, and a chair and easel.

An award-winning watercolorist, Anne Buck is a member of the International Watercolor Society, Delaware Watercolor Society and Rehoboth Art League. She is past president and current education director of Milton Arts Guild.
