Pres Lee thanks BPW voters

May 16, 2023

I sincerely want to thank everyone who voted in this year’s Lewes Board of Public Works board of directors election.

The board has several major issues to consider going forward. Having a strong, dedicated board is crucial to the future of the utilities serving Lewes and surrounding areas. This year’s election has strengthened an already-strong board.

I want to also thank Wendell Alfred and Barbara Curtis, who ran with me. They are friends of mine and both well qualified to serve on the board. The Lewes community is fortunate to have people of this integrity and talent willing to run for office in public service such as the BPW board. They ran very positive and professional campaigns. I regret that we can’t all serve together.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my past 12 years on the board and look forward to continuing serving for the next three years. I appreciate this opportunity and hope to earn the trust you’ve placed in me.

Pres Lee
Lewes
