Skilled nursing facility and office complex complete master plan for parcel

Two projects have been approved as part of the Oyster Cove community master plan along Old Orchard Road near Lewes.
At its Feb. 23 meeting, the Sussex County Planning & Zoning Commission approved preliminary site plans for Tranquility at Breakwater, a three-story, 75,000-square-foot skilled nursing facility, and Orchard Plaza, a three-story, 55,000-square-foot medical and professional office complex.
The projects are part of a 25-acre parcel, which already contains Oyster Cove, with 24 multifamily duplexes on nine acres.
The final site plans will be reviewed by county planning & zoning staff.
Tranquility at Breakwater, a 75,000-square-foot skilled nursing facility, and Orchard Plaza, 55,000 square feet of office space, have been approved for this section of a 25-acre parcel along Old Orchard Road adjacent to the Lewes-to-Georgetown Trail.
