Promotions announced at Bancroft Construction
Bancroft Construction recently announced two promotions. Mike Petka has been named vice president of preconstruction services, and Tiffany Brownie has been promoted to project manager.
Petka joined the company in February 2000 and has consistently demonstrated superior capabilities in the areas of project management, team leadership, client relations and new business development. As a project executive, he repeatedly demonstrated his ever-growing leadership skills while leading several successful projects that include but are not limited to the Christiana Care Freestanding Emergency Department in Middletown, P.S. DuPont Middle School Renovation, AstraZeneca Child Development Center and Baltz Elementary School. Throughout his work on these projects and several others that are currently underway, the company has received continuous accolades regarding the outstanding work performed by Petka and his team. Along with his work in the field, Petka is committed to Bancroft's overall development through his involvement in the strategic technology committee, BIM subcommittee and in business planning.
Brownie joined Bancroft in August 2013 as an assistant project manager. Everyone who has worked with her on projects knows firsthand how dedicated Brownie is to ensuring an outstanding customer experience, regardless of any challenges she is faced with on small, medium or large projects. She is a consummate professional who easily earns the respect of subcontractors, owners and customers, and is well respected by her colleagues at Bancroft. Brownie's first project at Bancroft was the STAR Campus Retail Building. Since then she has worked on several Gore projects, the New Castle County Courthouse and Stevensville Middle School. Brownie earned her bachelor of science degree in construction management from Drexel University.
