Queer Queens to invade Milton Theatre June 11 for comedy show

June 3, 2022

Three of the funniest, edgiest, most talented and outrageous queer comics, including hometown funny girl Fay Jacobs, will be on stage for two shows only, at 5 and 8 p.m., Saturday, June 11, at the Milton Theatre.

Together in Milton to celebrate Pride Month, the Queer Queens of Qomedy Poppy Champlin, Mina Hartong and Fay Jacobs are a comedic tour de force. Tickets are $25. The 8 p.m. show is almost sold out, with the 5 p.m. tickets going fast.

“If you can’t get away for an Olivia cruise, visit P-Town right now or party at the Dinah Shore weekend, the Queer Queens are bringing the party to you! You’re getting three amazing headliners for the price of one,” said Champlin.

Besides her deep comedic chops, Champlin has a terrific singing voice she puts to use with hilarious song parodies.

A retired educator, Hartong left the classroom recently to spend more time making people laugh, winning open-mic contests and headlining pride events internationally.

Opening the show, Jacobs promises new stories about her recently survived trip to five national parks in Utah.

Tickets are available at MiltonTheatre.com, or call the box office at 302-684-3038 for assistance.

The Milton Theatre is located in downtown historic Milton at 110 Union St. along the Broadkill River.
