The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice has awarded a Charlotte King Scholarship to Deena Johnson of Lincoln.
A graduate of Milford High School, Johnson will be attending Delaware State University in the fall.
The scholarship award is based on a candidate’s demonstrated concern for furthering racial understanding and justice, as well as citizenship and service in the school community.
