Radio Rehoboth 99.1 seeks community leaders for advisory board

April 5, 2019

Community radio station WWSX-LPFM (99.1FM) RadioRehoboth.com is seeking local community leaders and business owners to build its advisory board to help reach its goal to become the premier source of news and entertainment for beach-area visitors and residents.

Radio Rehoboth airs locally on 99.1FM, reaching Rehoboth Beach, Lewes and Dewey Beach; and streams online at radiorehoboth.com and on the TuneIn app. As a nonprofit corporation, East Sussex Public Broadcasting Inc. provides community-oriented programming that serves the interests of local residents and businesses.

General Manager Jeff Balk said, "A diverse advisory board will help ensure our content continues to make Radio Rehoboth an all-inclusive destination for listeners, enhancing vacation experiences and informing residents by providing exposure to local businesses, community organizations, and events, as well as government safety and information programs.”

Business leaders interested in a seat on the advisory board will consult with executive board members, and will be invited as VIP guests to all events and luncheons. Members will also have an open seat invitation as on-air guests during regularly scheduled programs. To be considered for the advisory board, contact Balk via email at jeff@radiorehoboth.com or leave a message on the studio line at 302-401-9991.

The public is also welcome to stop by the studio for visitors information brochures, and coupons to local retailers and attractions. Radio Rehoboth 99.1FM is located just before the circle at 37290 Rehoboth Avenue Ext., Rehoboth Beach. For more information, go to Radio Rehoboth’s Facebook page.
