Ray Ewing joins Gallery One as partner artist
The artists of Gallery One in Ocean View are excited to welcome new partner Raymond Ewing.
With a love of the plein air tradition, Ewing has taken his painting outdoors for the last 10 years. Working in multiple mediums of oil, watercolor and pastel, Ewing creates breathtaking work that records those fleeting moments in time when light and color and atmosphere are at their peak.
Ewing has been an art instructor, an active juror, and a guest lecturer in the Washington, D.C. area for more than 30 years. He has been featured in solo and group shows throughout the Mid-Atlantic region as well as in New England. His unique works have been included in the Department of State Art in Embassies Program and are held in private and corporate collections in the U.S. and abroad.
Ewing is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association and a signature member of the prestigious Baltimore Watercolor Society and the Maryland Pastel Society.
Always staffed by an artist, Gallery One is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, seven days a week, at 32 Atlantic Ave., Route 26, Ocean View.
