RBG held over at Rehoboth’s Cinema Art Theater

May 31, 2018

Due to popular demand, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society's Cinema Art Theater will hold over “RBG,” an inspiring documentary about the trail-blazing life of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

At the age of 85, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has developed a lengthy legal legacy while becoming an unexpected pop culture icon. But the unique personal journey of her rise to the nation's highest court has been largely unknown, even to some of her biggest fans - until now. “RBG” explores Ginsburg's life and career.

"An unforgettable film. No matter your political leanings, ‘RBG’ tells a heartwarming tale of determination, resilience, and in the spotlight is the most unlikely rockstar," writes Zachary Kaplan of Parade. Robert Sullivan of Vogue adds, "What's surprising to a casual follower of the judicial branch is that you'll be reaching not for your legal pad while watching the film, but the tissues, given that what actually underpins ‘RBG’ is a love story."

Additional screening times are 4 and 7 p.m., Friday, June 1; 4 and 7 p.m., Saturday, June 2; 4 p.m., Sunday, June 3; 4 and 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 6; and 4 and 7 p.m., Thursday, June 7. Admission is $8 for members and $11 for future members. Customers are encouraged to purchase tickets online. If seats are available, tickets can be purchased at the theater, starting 30 minutes prior to each screening.
