Teen charged in Lewes shooting
A Maryland teen faces charges in connection with an October shooting in Lewes.
Police responded to a home Oct. 8 in the 31000 of Maple Court for a shooting and found a Millsboro man, 29, who had been shot several times. Police identified Lewis M. Cameron, 18, of Hyattsville, Md., as a suspect and he was extradited to Delaware May 10.
He was taken to Troop 5 where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Cameron was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $1,209,100 cash bond.
