Bruce McFarlane and James Lichford of Milton recently returned from a 15-day Rhine River cruise that was a 870-mile trip along the Rhine, Main and Danube Rivers. The cruise included 12 stops in 4 countries and going thru 19 different locks along the way.
One of the many highlights of the trip was a visit to St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Passau, Germany where the largest cathedral organ in the world is housed. The organ consists of 17,974 pipes. Bruce and James were fortunate enough to attend one of the daily organ recitals.
They are pictured here with their 453 foot-long cruiseship, which made for smooth sailing and perfect conditions for reading and relaxing.
