Reading the Gazette in northern California while visiting Yosemite
Along with their Cape Gazette, Bob and Mary Roche recently returned from Yosemite National Park in northern California. Shown here while reading the Gazette, the vista in the background includes Half Dome as viewed from Tunnel View. Their stay in Yosemite included visits to Yosemite Falls, June Lake and the granite face of El Capitan (El Cap as the locals call it).
Their adventure also included a visit to Death Valley's Badwater Basin, which boasts the lowest point on this continent at 282 feet below sea level. The trip concluded with a stroll among the Giants at Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.
