Keller Williams Realty Delmarva announced Brigit Taylor has joined the firm as Delaware team leader. “We are excited to welcome Brigit Taylor to the Keller Williams Realty family. We believe in succeeding through people, and we believe having Brigit on our team is a huge win for us.” says Paul Richardson, managing director.
Originally from Baltimore, Taylor spent her younger years as a competitive ski racer and worked at various ski resorts in North and South America, Australia and New Zealand. Taylor finally retired from the ski industry and turned her sights full time toward real estate, working and living in the Vail Valley in Colorado. Her undergraduate degree is from American University in Washington, D.C., and she received a master's in business administration from the University of Denver. She was chief financial officer and chief operating officer for the largest real estate brokerage in the Vail Valley.
It was while serving in this role that Taylor’s passion for community service began. She started a foundation for her company which donated approximately $300,000 per year to local nonprofits. Over the past 15 years, Taylor has served on numerous nonprofit boards within the communities in which she has lived.
Currently, Taylor serves on the boards of the Sussex County Association of Realtors, the Delaware Association of Realtors and the Beach Lacrosse Club. She is the president of the Quiet Resorts Charitable Foundation. She is board president and a member of the Finance Committee of the Coastal Association of Realtors. She resides in West Ocean City, Md., with her husband Dan and two children, Max and Anders.
