For exceptional commitment to supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, local Realtor Julie Gritton has been named a 2025 Coldwell Banker Star of Hope.
The designation honors the top 15% of participating agents nationwide in the Coldwell Banker Supports St. Jude program, which enables affiliated agents to automatically donate to St. Jude with every home sale or purchase. Gritton and her team at Coldwell Banker Premier Lewes have contributed more than $20,000 to St. Jude over the past few years. Their consistent support has helped fund critical research and treatment for children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is the first and only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food. This is made possible because more than 75% of the hospital’s funding comes from generous donors. Since opening, St. Jude has helped increase the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80%.
“The donors who achieved this milestone are shining examples of what we can do together in support of the St. Jude mission,” said Jason Waugh, president of Coldwell Banker affiliates. “Because of these Stars of Hope, the light shines brighter for so many families and children.”
“Partnering with St. Jude and giving back with every sale is meaningful to me because we’ve seen firsthand how their incredible work touches families right here in our community,” said Gritton. “Knowing that our success helps fund lifesaving care for children and brings hope to local families makes every transaction that much more rewarding.”
For the past three consecutive years, Gritton has been named the No. 1 Coldwell Banker agent in Delaware.
“Julie’s recognition as a Star of Hope perfectly embodies the values we hold close at Coldwell Banker Premier,” said Steve DuBrueler, Coldwell Banker Premier founder and CEO. “I’m so proud of her team for showing how real success is measured — not just in sales, but in the lives we touch and the communities we lift up.”
