Members of the Red Hat Society Evening Primroses Chapter in Lewes recently met for breakfast to celebrate the 27th birthday of the national organization, founded April 25, 1998.
For the early morning occasion, attendees donned festive pajama garb in lieu of traditional purple clothing and red hats typically worn to monthly luncheons.
All Evening Primroses members also belong to the Pirates of the Delaware Bay Chapter and invite their mates to attend summer-month adventures dressed in pirate or wench garb.
The Red Hat Society is a social organization for women to connect, support and encourage one another in their pursuit of fun, friendship, freedom, fulfillment and and fitness, while collaborating in the quest to get the most out of life.
