Rehoboth Art League hosts 74th annual Members Fine Art Exhibition

The Rehoboth Art League's 74th Annual Members Fine Art Exhibition opening reception took place July 20. The exhibition will run through Sunday, Aug. 26, in the Cockran and Tubbs galleries in Henlopen Acres. The Members Showcase featuring printmaking will show in the Homestead during the same period.
Award winners include:
• Jim Rehak, "American Discovery Trail East," oil; Sarah Ethel Tunnel Award, best in show
• Bill Snow, "October Afternoon Light, Milton," oil; Mary Hall Leach Award for an outstanding work
• Kit Wilson McNeilly, "Annie Powell," pastel; Thomas McFarland Skelly Award for a painting of exceptional merit, any medium
• Patricia Walker, "Untitled," ceramic; Louis Chambers Corkran Award for best sculpture
• Nicholas Serratore, "Warm Reflection," pastel; Lucille K. Megee Award for honorable mention
• Millie Shott, "The Woods," watercolor; Mary Derrickson McCurdy Memorial Award for honorable mention
• Carol Dyer, "Bethany by the Sea," acrylic; Mrs. Robert McClellan Award for honorable mention
• Nancy Orne Mysak, "Feeding Osprey II," watercolor; Adelia E. Chiswell Award for best watercolor
• Mitzi Ash, "Branching Out," silk painting, and Kim Klabe, "Early Evening," oil; Village Improvement Association Award for two local artists
• Elaine Kuntz, "RAL Sketch Group Study," prismacolor pencil; Howard Schroeder Sketch Group Award for a portrait or figurative work
• Jim Rehak, "American Discovery Trail East," oil; Col. W.S. Corkran Award for a painting representative of the Eastern Shore of Sussex County.
