Rehoboth Beach Bandstand to kick off 61st season June 9

This weekend, the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand will kick off its 61st season featuring 13 weeks of great music and free, fun performances.

The 2023 Summer Concert Series gets off to a jazzy and nostalgic start with performances featuring Good Shot Judy at 8 p.m., Friday, June 9; Frontiers – The Ultimate Journey Tribute Band at 8 p.m., Saturday, June 10; and Guys in Thin Ties at 8 p.m., Sunday, June 11.

"We are thrilled to kick off our Summer Concert Series with such an incredible lineup," said Corey Groll, Rehoboth Beach Bandstand program director. "These free performances promise to deliver an unforgettable experience for our audience, showcasing the remarkable talent and diverse musical styles that the bandstand is known for."

With Good Shot Judy’s captivating blend of jazz, swing and big band music, audience members are enticed to dance the night away.

Frontiers – The Ultimate Journey Tribute Band will present an unforgettable show filled with Journey’s greatest hits, flawlessly performed with the same energy and excitement that made the band a household name.

Closing out the opening weekend, Guys in Thin Ties will perform spot-on renditions of classic hits from the ‘80s.

Throughout the season, free concerts will be presented each weekend at 8 p.m., Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Rehoboth Beach Bandstand Summer Concert Series is a city tradition, providing free entertainment to the community and visitors since 1963. The bandstand's picturesque location, just steps away from the beach, offers a unique and memorable setting for live performances.
