Rehoboth Beach Main Street launches banner project

Sponsorships available through April 1
March 17, 2019

The Rehoboth Beach Main Street Design Committee announced the 2019 Rehoboth Avenue Center Island Banners Project.

Banner Committee Chair Drexel Davison said, “This year’s banners are considerably larger, with brighter, more colorful images that convey a happy, upbeat feeling of seaside fun! While the 2018 banners were 22-by-71-inches, with only one alternating banner on each pole, the 2019 banners will be 30-by-90-inches with two banners on each pole, combining to make one large image, with four images repeating in cycle down The Avenue. The sponsor names will be larger and brighter. The banners were generously designed and provided free of charge by Group J Design, and will be visually stunning, a dynamic addition to our beautiful downtown beach resort. By sponsoring a banner, your business not only promotes the beautification of our downtown, it puts your business name front and center to literally millions of visitors year round.”

Banners will be installed this May and will remain for one year. The cost of a banner, with a business name on the front and back side, is $475. Banners will be sold now through Monday, April 1, on a first-come, first-served basis, to downtown brick-and-mortar storefront businesses with preference given to paying members of Rehoboth Beach Main Street.

“By sponsoring one of these beautiful new banners through Main Street, you will not only be making a smart advertising investment for your business, you will also be investing in the vitality of all businesses in beautiful downtown Rehoboth Beach,” said Davison.
