Rehoboth Beach hosted its 18th annual auction Oct. 4 in the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center and city hall parking lot.

Hundreds of people showed up to bid on more than a dozen vehicles, a variety of maintenance equipment, single-head parking meters, old lifeguard stands, old signage, furniture, jewelry, bicycles and electronics. Emmert Auction Associates conducted the auction.

During a commissioner workshop Oct. 6, City Manager Taylour Tedder said the final totals weren’t available, but the vehicles themselves brought in about $100,000.
