Rehoboth Beach Yoga to host free pain clinic April 9

Separate half-day session also includes chanting, meditation
April 4, 2022

A free Yoga Pain Clinic will be offered from 9 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday April 9, at Rehoboth Beach Yoga. Anyone who lives with pain and is ooking for an alternative way to manage it can learn how to live a pain‐free life with Svaroopa yoga. Participants will find out how yoga can help with their aches and pains, learn what is going on from yoga's perspective and experience a few body‐friendly yoga poses selected specifically for those who attend.

A separate half-day program will take place from 2 to 6 p.m., with three hours of yoga poses plus an hour of chanting and meditation. Body, mind, heart and deeper – the bliss of consciousness is guaranteed.  Anyone can attend; it’s all user-friendly while being deeply effective and profoundly nourishing. Meditation instruction is included, along with personal attention in individual poses for maximum benefits.

Those who register on or before Thursday, April 7, qualify for an early tuition rate of $91; the standard rate is $101.

Both programs will be led by Swami Samvidananda Saraswati (formerly Maria Abbruzzi), who has been teaching Svaroopa yoga and meditation for over 20 years. After she raised her three children, she became a swami, a yoga monk. She said, “Now that I am a swami, I do what I’ve always done. The difference is that I’m doing it from a greater depth.”
