The Gazette reports some commissioners are concerned about the city's near financial future – in a couple of years, there may be a lack of surplus funds. Perhaps commissioners, and other city leaders, might have paid more attention to the most significant overrun on the building cost of the city's Taj Mahal city hall, and/or the cost of the needlessly fancy new lifeguard station, and/or the extremely high salary and bonuses paid to the city's new manager – whomever he is, as he appears silent and invisible running things, except perhaps for the now-crazy-high parking fees, keeping locals from shopping in town, and guests looking for alternate places to park. Face it, this budget issue is self-generated by a lackadaisical management approach by Rehoboth city elected leadership.
