Rehoboth celebrates Christmas 1966

This was the scene in Rehoboth Beach during the holiday season in 1966. The photographer was standing on the Boardwalk shooting westward from the Woman's Christian Temperance Union water fountain. At the time, the Bandstand was facing toward the beach and ocean. It wasn’t until 2006, when the city completed a major streetscape project, that the Bandstand as it looks today was finished.
