As a former town commissioner in Pennsylvania, I am assuming that the new Rehoboth city manager, owing to his compensation and benefits, and although with limited experience and coming from a city that is not remotely a resort or near an ocean, will perform miracles in resolving the issues that presently plague Rehoboth Beach. These are issues such as parking shortage, traffic gridlock, increase in parking fees affecting businesses' growth and tourism income, increased utilities and business costs, flooding and beach preservation, and a looming budget deficit.
