Rehoboth film festival artist submissions due June 20
The Rehoboth Beach Film Society is seeking original artwork submissions to celebrate the award-winning Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival and its 27th anniversary.
In a long-standing tradition, the society selects one artist’s unique work to serve as the brand that will define the international festival set for Monday to Saturday, Nov. 3 to 9. Patrons can expect more than 70 original documentaries, features, shorts and international titles. The Cinema Art Theater will host the annual event, with additional venues to be added.
The selected artwork will receive tremendous visibility and be used in the creation of promotional assets for print and online purposes including playbill posters, festival programs and merchandise, with the sole purpose to celebrate the film festival. A picture of the selected artist and their bio will appear in the festival program and other media spots. The final artwork will be auctioned at the festival in November, with proceeds to benefit the Rehoboth Beach Film Society, a 501c3 Delaware nonprofit.
“What makes the Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival special is that it belongs as much to our remarkable coastal community as it does to the filmmakers. That’s why we rely on local artists to help us build the brand each year,” said Dave Bever, film society executive director.
