Rehoboth Gingerbread Contest entry deadline extended

Rehoboth Beach Gingerbread Contest organizers have announced a new entry deadline for competitors. The new deadline, Monday, Nov. 13, is intended to give bakers more time to sign up for the new contest.

Originality and creativity are primary to the contest. No gingerbread kits are permitted, and all parts of the construction must be edible.

Contest divisions include: Amateur, with age groups, Professional, and Nonprofit Organizations. Daria Horn, aka 'The Cake Lady,' is available to advise participants who have questions about construction and transportation.
