Rehoboth police thank community for its support

October 14, 2022

Rehoboth Beach Police Department would like to thank the community for its support of the National Faith & Blue Weekend. Faith & Blue is a four-day event based on the premise that strong communities are built through mutual respect and understanding. The Rehoboth Beach Police Department partnered with St. Edmond Catholic Church for a free family BBQ event hosted by Rehoboth Beach Fire Department. The event, held Oct. 8, was sponsored by Mountaire Farms, 227 Rent, Wawa, Dolle's Candyland and Rehoboth Acme. Our volunteers served more than 200 BBQ chicken lunches to the community and collected donations to support the Rehoboth Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary. We sincerely thank our sponsors, volunteers, Rehoboth Beach Fire Department and especially our wonderful Rehoboth community for its support of not only this event, but continued support of our police department.

Lt. William L. Sullivan
