Rehoboth TransLiance will welcome guest speaker Hannah Simpson at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 27, at Metropolitan Community Church in Rehoboth.
Simpson is a nationally known writer, speaker and educator on transgender identity and inclusivity, intersecting with her Jewish faith. Her writing and commenting have been nationally featured.
An advocate for Israel and its vibrant LGBTQ community, Simpson is also a disaster response volunteer with the American Red Cross. She has deployed to hurricanes in Texas and Florida, as well to wildfire response in Northern California. Her pride gear shop on Etsy has served individuals in over 750 cities throughout 26 countries.
The event is free and open to the public. MCC Church is at 19369 Plantation Road, Rehoboth Beach.
