Renis Siner Paton, loved antiques, history
Renis Siner Paton, 92, of Winter Park, Fla., and Rehoboth Beach, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025. Born June 10, 1933, in Wilmington, she was the daughter of the late Jaryl and Elizabeth (Baily) Siner. Renis was educated at Fox Hollow School and Sweet Briar College, where she developed a lifelong appreciation for art, history, and culture.
Renis was married to William Whitney from 1953 to 1961, and later to William K. Paton from 1963 to the present day. She was the founder of Heritage Sales and Appraisals Inc., a business she started from her deep love of antiques and history. Renis' career reflected her passion for preserving the past and sharing its beauty with others. She was an accomplished watercolorist, and loved antiquing and gardening. Renis' creative spirit, sharp eye, and warm heart touched the lives of many.
Renis is survived by her husband, Bill; five beloved daughters, Renee, Betsy, Polly, Katie and Sarah; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in late spring 2026 to celebrate her life.
