The Clubhouse at Baywood, a full-service restaurant located in Baywood Greens, a golf course community in Long Neck, is currently taking reservations for Mother's Day brunch, available beginning at 10 a.m., Sunday, May 14. A la carte items will also be available. Dinner starts at 4 p.m.
"For many families, it's a tradition to treat their mothers and grandmothers to a leisurely brunch on Mother's Day," said Lisa Chambers, general manager of the restaurant. "We recognize that it's a special occasion, but it's also a family-friendly meal for all ages. Chef Tom Deptula has created a menu of delicious options to satisfy a variety of tastes and appetites."
Breakfast selections on the brunch buffet will include made-to-order omelets, seasoned home fries, bacon and sausage, French toast bread pudding and waffles. Lunchtime offerings will include oven-roasted flounder, marinated London broil, potato salad, spring peas and carrots, and a green bean casserole. The buffet will also feature fresh fruit, crudités, house-cured citrus salmon, and domestic and imported cheeses. Assorted pastries, muffins, Danishes and mini-desserts will delight guests with a sweet tooth.
Cost for the buffet is $35 for adults and $12 for children 10 and under.
The Clubhouse, part of the SoDel Concepts hospitality group, offers more than a lavish buffet. With views of gardens filled with seasonal color and the green golf course, it has a peaceful, picturesque backdrop for a memorable meal.
