Rethink how to schedule, pay employees

March 17, 2023

Some proven hiring suggestions to fill vacancies that businesses use. Pay your people weekly. Offer shorter shift options – three-, four-, five-, six-hour shifts. Offer days of the week flexibility with no minimum weekly hours. Eliminate or scale back benefits. Put that money into hourly salaries. Make incentives part of a job offer, and make them realistic, attainable and fair. Be creative in your pursuit of help. Eight hours a day every day with pay every two weeks is not appealing in today’s environment.
