Returning to El Salvador many years later with the Gazette
January 8, 2025
After 20 long years, Rene Garrido finally returned to El Salvador. He was accompanied by his husband, Dwaine Gasser, and their favorite newspaper. To celebrate their return, they visited the Tazumal Mayan ruins, an iconic archaeological site in western El Salvador. Tazumal is not only the first archaeological park created in El Salvador but also one of the oldest in Central America.
