Reva Marie Genthert, enjoyed home life
Reva Marie Genthert, 79, of Lewes, formerly of Aston, Pa., passed away peacefully Thursday, July 16, 2020, at at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born July 5, 1941, in Chester, Pa., daughter of the late Paul and Laura (Garside) Scull.
Mrs. Genthert worked for the Franklin Mint for 14 years prior to moving to Lewes in 1999. She held various jobs in the area before finding rewarding employment at the Sleep Inn and Suites, where she enjoyed taking care of the flowers and pool. Mrs. Genthert enjoyed fishing at the inlet, gardening and home life. She was a loving and devoted companion, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Genthert was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Genthert; her brother, Sam Scull; and her sisters: Anna D'Alterio and Polly King. She is survived by her companion of 40 years, Sally Alexander; her daughter, Laura Valeriano; her granddaughter, Liz Valeriano; and her many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
