Dogfish Head and Revelation partnered to make the summer-themed Hefeweizen.
The doors opened a little before 10 a.m., July 4, and there was a line waiting for the new brew.

It was Christmas in July for fans of locally-brewed beers when Dogfish Head Craft Brewery and Revelation Craft Brewing Co. unveiled a collaboration beer July 4. The summer-centric Hefeweizen brewed with malt, wheat and strawberries from Sussex County. Revelation and Dogfish each put their own twist to this warm-weather quencher. Dogfish Head’s version of In Tandem includes nutmeg fruit to offer slightly sweet and nutty notes. Revelation’s version contains vanilla and lavender from Lavender Fields in Milton.
All profits from browler sales, as well as $1 from every glass of In Tandem sold, will be donated to the Sussex County Land Trust.
