Revelation to open beer garden at Hudson Fields this summer

April 27, 2019

Revelation Craft Brewery announced plans to open a new beer garden in partnership with Hudson Fields on Route 1. Coming in June, the Revelation Beer Garden at Hudson Fields will feature a family- and pet-friendly environment just north of Lewes with easy access to Route 1.

The new beer garden, to be housed in the Eagle Crest airplane hangar, will feature 10 of Revelation’s beers on tap, a variety of food trucks, seating and activities for children and adults, and live music featuring local artists.

Part of the proceeds from the beer garden will benefit Camp Barnes, a local charity run by Delaware State Police.

At its recent Honor the Fallen event to support Camp Barnes, Revelation featured a new beer, Irish Copper Ale. Four retired police officers now on the Revelation staff reached out to Proximity Malts, which donated malts for the event. The officers assisted Revelation brewers in bringing this magnificent ale to life.

The day of the event, there was no seat left in the house at the brewery, and copper ale flew out of kegs, with 100 percent of those proceeds going to the charity. Revelation was able to donate $2,600 to Camp Barnes.

With the Revelation Beer Garden at Hudson Fields, team members hope to provide residents from Milford, Milton, Lincoln, Lewes and surrounding areas a comfortable and entertaining space for all ages, while providing the adults with great beer without having to fight the stress-inducing seasonal traffic.

The beer garden will be open Friday to Sunday. Tentative hours are 3 to 10 p.m., Friday; 12 to 10 p.m., Saturday; and 3 to 9 p.m., Sunday.
