The Lewes Chamber of Commerce recently facilitated a ribbon cutting for the Henlopen Trading Co. at its store at 114 Second St., Lewes.
The women's lifestyle clothing store carries carefully curated, environmentally focused brands that emphasize style, quality and comfort. Co-owners Darica Ward and Jenny Donohue also own Deanna’s and Piccolino, two women’s fashion boutiques in downtown Lewes.
Ward said, “We saw an intersection occurring between the geographic placement of Lewes, a natural playground, the broader movement among shoppers who want to support brands that focus on sustainability, and our local community who is often retired and very active.”
