Richard Taylor Faull, devoted to family, community
Richard Taylor Faull, 83, of Seaford, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026. Born Jan. 1, 1943, in Wilmington, Richard was the son of the late Marion and Leroy Faull. He graduated from Conrad High School in 1960 and went on to build a long and successful career in banking and insurance sales.
Richard enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fisherman and bird watcher, and a devoted fan of University of Delaware football. Richard was known for his quiet kindness and his commitment to giving back, demonstrated through his involvement with the Lions Club, Sussex County Habitat for Humanity and participation in numerous community service events.
Richard is survived by his son, Jeff Faull (Erin); his daughter, Kim Duggan; and his grandchildren, Jill Lozano (Jhohan), Jacob Faull (Alyassa), and Wil and Kate Duggan. He is also survived by extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Mayhart.
Richard will be remembered for his generosity, his love of nature, and his dedication to family and community.
Services for Richard will be held privately.
