Robert Barnes Vanderwerker, Lewes resident

Robert Barnes Vanderwerker, 73, of Lewes, formerly of Glen Rock, N.J., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018, at his home, surrounded by family.  He was born Jan. 14, 1945, in Englewood, N.J., son of the late Barnes and Kathleen (McCaw) Vanderwerker.

Mr. Vanderwerker is survived by his wife, Myra (Robinson) Vanderwerker; his children: Lauren and Philip; his grandchildren: Theo, Cassie, and Amos; and his sister, Joan.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Dec. 29, at 11 a.m., at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Second and Market streets, Lewes.  A second service at Christ Union Chapel at Culver Lake in New Jersey will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Mr. Vanderwerker's memory to St. Cecilia's Music Program, c/o St. Peter's Episcopal Church, PO Box 464, Lewes, DE 19958, or MERR Institute, 801 Pilottown Road, Lewes, DE 19958.
